And the forum clock is within 2 minutes of the computer clock...........You need to reset your forum settings to take in GMT

nope, I'm set to base time zone GMT & autocorrect DST - the forum is wrong (at least for someone based in the UK) or stupid.

If you have a problem with the forum software I suggest that you take it up by PM to Steve (Admin)

I have no problems on my computer synchronisation with TOC Forum :)

I think that I've worked it out - & it proves that the forum software is stupid & that I've been logged in for hours.

the forum software doesn't re-synch' unless you refresh the board index even if you refresh other pages (view new posts, threads etc.).

as it hasn't resynch'ed that means that I've been logged in since before the time change - actually this tab has been open for the last 3 days continuously ;).

As said, please address any software criticism to Steve (Admin) by PM...........(It really is not for open forum discussion)

Are you really sure that your pages are not synchronising when they update?

The forum software resyncs on my computer at each page change (View new posts)

Possibly you need to update your computer.............Of course you may not agree.........I hardly expect you to ;)

haven't I proven it?

the forum is currently at 07.24AM for me (P.S. just went back to the board index & as expected it rolled the time back an hour - I'm not a programmer but I wouldn't have imagined that was a hard thing to resynch with any page update rather than just the board index? :unsure: )

The forum software resyncs on my computer at each page change (View new posts)

obviously not on mine.

my PC clock changed with DST but not the forum.

from an i5/P55 what do you suggest that I update it to? :huh::rolleyes:

Nobody ever does...........its all good exercise for the mind and brain.................and not to be taken seriously ;)

Good sport really.............but if you look at the geography of UK and sunrise charts............No-one from the South ever will...................Unless of course you log off and shut down your computer :P :o ;) :lol:

woohoo!................Morning TOCcers.............It has been a longer than usual night!!!!! :P :lol::lol:
