Mr 2 Roadster Audio

Does anayone know how to remove the Radio CD from the MR2 Roadster (2004 model) I am thinking of mounting rear Speakers in the front of the two storage bins behind the seats, has anyone done it ?

The Radio CD looks to have the rear channel available but without the Speakers and the front ones tend to distort at fairly low volume if you turn the bass up, I thought fitting the rear Speakers (with quite a small cone not to take up too much valuable loadspace) would give a much needed bass sound.
