hi

Have a toyota carina E 1.6GS R reg , the hatchback is stiff and makes a loud groan / squeek noise when i open or close it ( a little easier on closing - though not much )

have tried wd40 which only works for a day or so , anyone any more permanent ideas - its annoyingly loud specially when in car parks !!! :-(

WD40 is best for "drying" out electrical equipment.

Try some proper lubricating oil or a blob or two of grease :thumbsup:
