Xenon Lights On Auris?

Hello,

My new Auris will be delivered on Monday. One tiny thought: Can I fit xenon lights on my car? I travel a lot and these damn lights are very nice for highways, especially in Greece where street lighting is very much non-existent. I have read somewhere that fitting xenon lights requires proper circuit, not just xenon bulbs.

certain models of the auris come with HID's as std. you can buy HID kits from eBay but check the local laws to make sure they're legal.

a true HID kit will come with ballast packs, bulbs and wiring harness. dont be fooled by xenon 'effect' bulbs as the difference is like night and day

HID's are not offered on UK models. Not sure about ones for Europe. I have retro fitted a HID kit to my Corolla T-Sport and the difference is amazing. Well worth it if you do a lot of driving in the dark!
