Hi there, could anyone tell me where I can download the installation instruction for installing the TNS310 sat nav system into a 07 Yaris as i have now acquired one and wish to install it...... Or would it be more advisable to go to the main dealer and get then to do it for me.

Thanking you in anticipation

New car, new sat nav, I would personally get a quote from Toyota as they have done it probably more times than you can shake a stick at.

Nah .... do it yourself

Should be something on here : link

If not there should be guides showing youhow to take the dash apart and that will be the hardest job TBH ;)

Thanks for your advice. Have contacted Toyota and price was £180 to install

If its as easy as the tns 200 in the old Yaris, save the dough and fit it yourself!

Theres a nice few extras for the £180 you could buy! B)

What are you going to do?

I.'ve had a look on the Toyota site and it seems fairly easy but you have to take the dashboard off and I'm a little worried that things never go back as they should and as its a new car i don't fancy ending up with a car full of rattles so i think I'm going the dealer route, that way there's always a comeback if something goes wrong

Honestly, if you're even vaguely careful then there's no reason for the dash to be rattly. I've had mine out 3 or 4 times now and its perfectly secure. I'll be they've never installed one yet either so you'll have as much experience as they will, will be working from the same instructions they will and will be being a darned sight more diligent than whichever junior tech gets lumbered with the task.

Its a no-brainer. Really...

A

PS If I didn't live at the other end of the country then I'd do it for my diesel money and £20...

TBH unless your lucky you will probably take it apart and put it together with alot more care than what Toyota would ...... I've had mine back with things not plugged in properly and airvents broken etc
