So What Have You Had To Replace?

Rav will be 5 at the end of next week and it's passed the MOT today. Just thinking that apart from routine servicing , petrol , insurance all I have needed to replace are a set of windscreen wipers and an oxygen sensor. No bulbs , batteries ,exhausts or anything. It's only got 33k on it . Has anyone replaced anything or are bills starting to loom?

My car is 11 years old and had its first back box this Easter...not because it had a hole, but because one of the baffles was rattling inside, and I have just changed the original Rotor Arm, Dizzy Cap and New Leads this afternoon as the car started to judder...not bad for an 11 year old car...see pic.

I have a 2001 NRG and it has had a lot of work done. New cat, new lambda sensors, new exhaust system, bearings, brake disc's to name the one's I remember. Still, I guess it's not that bad considering it has nearly 160000 miles on the clock!!!

Thanks for asking. Work still hasn't been completed due to the fact that we have been unable to get jig brackets for the car. The chap repairing just wants to be 100% sure that everything is as it is meant to be. So there hasnt been much progress. The company that supplies these brackets have currently rented them out to a dealer who is taking their time returning them. Meanwhile we must sit back and wait..............

Mine is a June 05 XT5 5 door in Black with 96,000 miles on the clock and FSH , i've known it from new as it was a company car with one driver, it had a new high pressure injection pump at 33k and a new DMF and clutch at 93k, thankfully before I bought it :o

Since i've had it it's needed a wheel bearing and 4 new tyres, i've only had it a month and I love it, bargain too £7,000 which is what they were offered in PX for a new one, that's some depreciation 25k to 7k in 2 1/2 years

Probably something to do with the 96,000 miles it's done
