hello dudes aint been on in a while iv not got my compressor anymore having to settle for an SR at the moment

i found out this piece of info which is very worrying :o

when the compressors where being made the oil was put in them before they were put into the cars but never re-checked after fitting

this means they are running around on the minimum mark!!!!

mines had 1400miles on the clock before i lost her but guess wat NO OIL!!!

just thot ad let the compressor boys no before the reaper calls time on your superchargers

correct me if i'm wrong but the eaton supercharger has its own oil supply. so the dipstick has no effect.

behind the intake pipe for the supercharger unit(at the front) if you undo the rubber piping and the 10mm nuts around the front and just move it back slightly there is a 14mm bolt this is the head of the dipstick to check the oil

undo this bolt, to check the level you just sit it in you dont screw it in

hi,has anyone got any pics to help me,i asume i am looking directly into the engine bay when you say at the front and not at the front of the supercharger,so the dipstick is at the rear of the supercharger beneath the air intake pipe?or am i the dipstick?

yeh you will see the intake pipe leading onto the front of the supercharger its held on by 10mm head bolts with a gasket behind it move this out of the way and you will see a 14mm bolt behind it this is your dipstick for the supercharger
