Dear Respected members,

This is my first post of many, what a great site!!

Unfortunatly my Toyota has been in storage since January, I will be bringing it back to life soon.

Does anyone know of any common faults that can occur after storing in a semi damp place?

I am aware that I will need to: -

Change the oil

Ignition leads

Spark plugs

Anything else??

Last question honest!!, in the past I have tried to take the ignition lead of the distributor but they are soo hard to take of

is there technique to take them of??

Many Thanks.

If the car hasn't been moved in the past 8 months then the brakes could be seized (especially if it was stored with the hand brake on).

The only other things i would check for is damage to any pipework, basically check for leaks etc. 8 months isn't too long so a good service should sort it out.
