Rear Window

ive removed my rear wiper motor and the rear window has stopped working , i know they run off the same relay , i obviously had window and tailgate down while i took off motor but window went up ok , is there some kind of switch or sensor that can be causing the window to stop working ????? i hate electrical problems . any ideas ?

Hi Peter

I had a similar problem whilst breaking my surf. If you reconnect the wiper mechanism you should notice that the wiper arm will return to it's propper resting place, this will enable the window to go up and down. once in it's rightful place you should be able to disconnect the wiper mech and still play with the window.
