Are "friend's" Electric?

Has anyone here tried the Electric supercharger's that seem to be advertised at the top of the forum, in a Yaris yet?

If so, did they do any good  or were they a waste of hard earned? :(

I have been thinking of fitting one to my 1.3l model but was not sure if they are any cop!

Any help would be welcomed. Perhaps advice on a superchip, even. Thanks in advance. B)

Nooo Don't!

They are a joke; do a search and you'll find plenty of threads ripping the proverbial out of them - on this and every other motoring related forum.

I got a message back from the supplier and they recon a 33bhp gain!

I know they are bound to exaggerate but surely there must be some benefit? fter all, they use THIS FORUM, to advertise their wares!

never work in a million years

if you do the math behind it doesnt have anywhere near enough revs/force/compresion to have any benefit, and if it did, itd need to be intercooled at some point in the system.

it will cool your computers processor and thats about it.

stick to the proven stuff for true performance gains
