Gt4 Jap Import Headlight Trouble.........

the drivers side headlight wont go down on my 1990 gt4 (jap) when bought it bloke gave me a replacement relay and said the motors fine but this is gone, i took it thinking yeah no probs will find it easy..........

had the car a weeks and stil not come across the damn thing!!! its a pretty big blue box about the size of you hands palm maybe! one connection going into it..............

any help to point in the right direction will be great as looks ugly with lights up 24/7!!!

That's a pretty big relay.

I thought the headlamp relay was a regular sized one in the main fuse box, though that could be just for the lights themselves rather than the motors. I vaguely recall some bigish blue boxes under one of the outer kick panels; there's lots of electrical stuff under these, so would be a good place to look if you haven't already done so.

Or contact the seller and ask him where it goes?

he couldnt find it (the seller) hence why ive stil got to do it haha........

will try the kick panels 2day see what i can find..........

Take the glovebox and left hand lower dash off. Look up under the upper dash and you'll see a blue box bolted to the cross brace. That I think is the chappie you're after. ;)
