Upgrading The Cams?

HI,

obviously the standard cams are tricky ones but is there any on the market for the TS?

if so i guess they would be expensive but then again you would prob see more than the usuall 6-8bhp gain...

also after the usuall air filter, zaust, would the likes of

Blitz Iridium spark plugs

Decent fuel pump

make much difference?

Well....

Upgrading the cams will more than likely improve the actual torque more than the bhp! So its a big help if you ask me as it will give you that extra lower end grunt I think the CTS is missing! Personal preference and all that... anyway

They do a lot with the Celica which helps as it uses the same 2zz-ge block! As far as I know the only differences between the Celica and Rolla are the ECUs! The Celica has 2 and Rolla has 1! Everything else is the same, though I need confirmation so anybody in the know please shout!

Now the best thing with these monkeywrenchers is they test everything cause they love the celica so check out the link here PiperCams! It has graphs of what the differences are between the Stock and PiperCams are! So you can make your own opinion on what differences it will make!

You can get them shipped and get a decent tune house to do it for you! PiperCams are all over the world so you can probably get them in UK from somewhere! As for tune house not sure but thor racing probably could or maybe the boys in fensport know of somewhere or could do it themselves! Theres an opportunity to do it anyway!
