I wouldn't be put off by someone saying that they ain't worth much. In all honesty if you're looking for an investment then this isn't the way to do it. However, if you're looking for ( in my opinion ) the best Celica shape and condition then it sounds like a good one to go for.

A guy on TOC! sold his Gen5 ( next model after this one ) last year......low mileage, FTSH, mint condition, faultless car for not much more than a grand, so you shouldn't be paying too much for a Gen 4 I reckon.

The mileage sounds suspiciously low for it's age though.

id agree, your buying(defo not investing) in a toy that will cost you a fortune no doubt, and leave you wanting to cry at times. but its all worth it when shes running sweet and you see the people staring as you drive by :D

but dont expect to make money, thats why i cant let my celica go,ive put too much into the car for someone else to enjoy it

Sorry m8...couldnt tell you how much they normally go for...i got mine off eBay for £148..needed some (well alot) of welding..and new clutch...was lucky to get it really as some1 else had actually won it while i was watchng it....so afew days later decided to do another search and it came up again with a notice that winner didnt turn up...so i snapped it up :) ...and havent regretted it since.

They do cost a fair bit to get up and running as parts are hard to find for them now and can be expensive...but when you do find the parts...its well worth it in the long run...they are a dream car...Many a ppl that have driven our car have said they are such an easy and smooth car to drive for its age.

thats 1 sweet a*s car m8 and very very well looked after from what i can see in the piccie....go look at it first...they are known for going at the front and rear suspesion buckets/cups...if they are fine and everything else looks ok and sounds fine then you're laughing for that price.

If you get her...whats your plans for her??
