Hi

Can anyone tell me which dog guards fit the rav 4, 5 door D4D, 2002 model year?

(Metal types not the nets)

I have seen model number GBNGA-4G155 for sale but the dealers wont tell me if that will fit. The ad states it fites 2003 model years.

Any ideas please?

I have the net type one. Attaches by spring loaded bar into top grommets in ceiling by back seats. Then uses a hook to fasten to rings on floor....Works a treat and stops my Labrador from catapulting over the seats....

Cant help you on the part number though...Kingo no doubt will enlighten us soon....

Just thought I'd say. I paid £20(something) + postage for my Dog Guard...still new and in original wrapper. Nicely sent by last user in Cardboard tube......

Look on eBay for these...they do come up..

The 2002 models came with the net guard. First time I used it the dog took one look at it and climbed through the side onto the back seat. It's in the loft along with the load area cover

My dog will certainly find a way through onto the back seat if he feels like it (Collie x GSD) if I use the net type. There must be a metal type for the 2002 model 5 door?

The one I listed further up this thread is a proper steel mesh dog guard, the nets are not dog guards, they are a type of cargo net and not meant to hold your collie in place!
