I got Spax -40mm jobbies on mine. You will need to adjust the suspension/camber geometry if you go that low though.

well i plan to put some alloys on it (18's) and lower it by 30mm hopfully can you tell me were im able to get them from?

Will 18's fit on the celica? or is it advisable to stick to 17's

Cheers,

Sam

Got mine from Motorsport World although the ones they currently list are 35mm. Mine were most definately 40mm drop.

As for wheels. Bear in mind that the 185 was originally fitted with 15 inch rims and big donut 50profile tyres. I've tried 17s with 30 profile tyres on mine and it felt very tramline ish and handled crap.. I eventually settled for 16" rims with 40 profile tyres. This seemed the best compromise. Ask around about 18s but I personally think handling and ride comfort will suffer especially with stiffer/lower springs.

thanks, I thought that may well be the case, im going to stick with 17's.. as regards the springs, ill see how it sits on the car and take it from there, i really dont want to upset the handling to much.

i got 16's on there at the moment and it just feels like there isnt enoth rubber on the road.

and thanks for the website, thats great

last question, does any one know were i can get pods from, i currently have a boost gage on the top dash, but its looks ugly there, i was after the pods that go on to the drivers window piller?

Thanks

Sam
