Hi,

Can anyone advise me of where I can get some of the plastic push fit type fixings for the hatch door trim on my '99 GS? They are a close sliding fit into a recess on the trim panel and the protruding part push fits into holes on the inner pressing of the hatch.

The ones fitted to mine have become "tired" and the panel is now prone to being pulled off quite easily when using the moulded recess to close the hatch.

I've browsed the the web and even tried Halfords without any luck. I assume that I have to give blood to Mr. T. for some.

I dont think the clips would be much from Toyota, plus they will be the right colour and size :)

Hello vmax1, I had same problem with my 2000 model. I got some that are used on Volvo truck door panels, they are yellow and are slightly bigger on the shank than the toyota ones so they are a tighter fit than the original! I think I might have some left that I could send you if you struggle to find anything else. Unfortunately I wont be able to get back to you until next weekend if you reply to this post.
