Over Heating

How old is the bus? How many miles on clock? What clour is the coolant? Deep Red if original - if it's brown or rusty (or was when you flushed it) could be a blocked rad. These are suseptible to that because the coolant may not have been looked after whilst in Japan. New rad maybe answer.

I don't like to be the bearer of bad news, but a cracked cylinder head produces just such symptoms on these cars. Do you notice it happening if you pull up a long hill, or on a long incline?, if so, I would almost certainly think this was the problem, either way, you should be running some tests for head gasket leakage.

Hi 50000 miles, water was brown.I have not at present had any more problems,But my dad is going to go right through the bus for me. Thanks for your input. Carol
