Help With Velocity Stacks....

Hi all,

I found some Velocity stacks for my Levin and wondered how exactly they work...

what i mean is, i know they fit onto the 4 throttle bodies, but on the standard car the TB are connected to the air intake and filter.

So with the Velocity stacks attached it doesn't seem that the intake would still fit.....

so do you do away with the intake and simple have the Velocity stacks exposed??? or do you have to make a custom surround for the Velocity stacks to attache back onto the filter? ooooor am i missing something altogether?

Any help would be good.

Thanks for your time

Kind regards,

Simon W

With just the stacks fitted!

You can get individual cone filters for each stack or make a custom cold air box and run cold air via air intake tubing from the lower part of the front grille.

You can also go along the same lines as fitting ITG style foam filter to each ITB or have a look at Pipercross

do a search for ITB/velocity stacks on the net
