St 165

hi can anyone help? i am out of ideas

my st165 still will not boost well it does, but it its not going any faster .

when you put your foot down you can hear the turbo start to spool up big sucking sound fron the air filter but the car does not go any faster. it will boost up to where i tell it to with the boost controler. set it low or high its the same, its like driving without a turbo. it will boost right up to 10psi still nothing happens it dumps out of the dump vavle ok.

ive have some problems with the o2 sensor (code21) but ive fixed that now.

im not getting any error codes at all juat a steady flash (on/off/on/off).

i was in hope that would fix it , its not the afm i have a spare so i changed that to see if that worked but its still the same.

apart from this problem it runs fine starts frist time no smoke(now ive done the o2 sensor).

ive tested the actuator with a tyre pump and it seems to move ok

any ideas?

Have you checked for split pipes etc, boost leak?

yes as far as i can tell there are no split pipes but ill take another look, the charge cooler pipes look ok,but it would have to be a big leak as there's not power from the turbo at all.

yes as far as i can tell there are no split pipes but ill take another look, the charge cooler pipes look ok,but it would have to be a big leak as there's not power from the turbo at all.

If you've got a timing gun check the base timing should be 10degrees. you need to connect TE1 and E1 port on diagnostic connections first.
