Levin Ae111 Headlights Problem

Hi there, new to here so be gentle!

Just bought a LEVIN AE111, 1600cc, 20 VALVE, 4A-GE. I have a question about the headlights.

They had a xenon 8000k H.I.D Conversion but they seem to be stuck on full beam most of the time. I have read somewhere that Levins had some sort of automatic headlights where they chose how bright to be? Anyone else have a Levin that knows about this?

Some cars had Auto on headlights (thought it was dipped beam only) that can come on when the sensor 'thinks' it's dark enough- like when entering tunnels etc.... I have not heard of any that change the lighting power output.

Best go over the wiring and see if all is correct- also check that the sensor hasn't been shorted out.
