Paseo Electrics Help

Hi all,

I'm new to forums so bare with me. I recently brought a 92 Paseo for AUD$2.2k and quite a few of the electrics in the car don't work.

The guy I got it off said that his stereo system was stolen and I guess that could be why some of the electrics don't work.

I was wondering if any one out there could help me or suggest ways of fixing them.

Clock on the dash doesn't work

Lights above the head don't come on when doors are open

Central locking does not work, I just found some wiring in the door was cut

In between the rpm and speedo gauge theres a column, I'm guessing theres some indicators of some sort, they don't work as well.

Hope someone out there knows how to fix these at home, as I don't wish to visit an auto electrician yet.

Thanks

First thing to do is work out why they don't work, and knowing that means you're a long way of the way to fixing them. Sera/Starlet/Paseo wiring is generally ok unless someones interefered with it. Check fuses and things for obvious faults.
