What To Look For On A Gt4

Hey people.

i'll breifly introduce myself, my names Steve, 26, live in leeds and hopefully by the weekend i will have got rid of my 180bhp Sri astra and will be jumping into a Celica GT4 and I can't wait.

I'm just wondering what i need to look out for on these?

what version of the GT4 are you after, the 185 or the 205 ect? actualy, be easyer to know what year it is?

its the st205 and its going to be either a L or M reg mate

Good choice and it should redeem you from your previous choice of car :P

There has been many post and buyers guides. Run a quick search and you will find plenty of info. A few of the more pricey problems include:

Superstrut suspension

Clutch

Rear diff. mount

Timing belt

Personally, I'd research and decide whether you want UK or Import, older or newer, high or low mileage. All have some pro's and con's.

But the Astra has done me good for 3 1/2 years and never let me down but just want a change now even though i have put a lot of time, money and effort on it

I had a look at some last night and they were all dog rough, but then again they were at keighley trade centre so defo wont be going there again!!!
