I changed my spark plugs in my 1.0 and it was quite easy. You need one of these:

The spark plugs are situated quite deep in the engine (at least in the 1.0)

The plugs are easy but take care, when undoing keep the socket upright and take it steady, mine were tight ( I used a socket with tommy bar) then used a plug wrench as shown too retrive them from the deep recess.

When !Removed! the new ones in put some anti seize on the threads and , using a bit of plastic tube at the end of the plug ,screw them in with your fingers ensuring not to cross thread them, then use the wrench, your suppose to use a torque wrench but I judged the tightness, Dont over tighten.
