just wondering if any of you have had a problem with your electric power steering .occasionaly when the steering wheel in lock and the car is started the steering wheel will start rocking side to side this can only be from the power steering motor moving the steering wheel .has anyone else had this on there corolla.ps this is when the vehicle is stationary.

i thought the power steering was hydraulic?! not electric.

most modern cars are going onto electric power steering as it uses less power from engine theres a motor on the column with a roller and sensor
