Reviewers Needed

Hi, not sure if this is the right spot to post... We publish a book on the Celica and we can't find any printed magazines to review it for us, you guys all seem to be online... Or are there some printed publications we've missed?

We also would be glad to supply review copies to this forum so we can find out what you guys think...

With regard to seller account - I'd say his post is more informational.

Yes, they sell, but I don't think they could sign as sellers on every user group for every book they sell - it would cost them a fortune and there's only a handful of their products that are specifically for our cars.

As I've said elsewhere, I've got quite a few Veloce books including at least half a dozen by Brian Long. They're all very interesting and have loads of info for enthusiasts that you probaby won't find elsewhere. If this one's as good as Brian Long's MR2 book then I want a copy.

Well, I've received a copy of the Celicas and Supras book now thanks to Gary, and I have to say WOW!

I've only had time to quickly scan through it, but I'm already very impressed. I've got half a dozen of Brian Long's books now (including for some bizarre reason two copies of the MR2 one) and this is the best yet IMHO. Unlike the other ones I have it's a flexible cover, but it still feels like a good quality book, and inside is as packed as ever with good stuff.

I think the style has changed somewhat from earlier books with a larger bold font being used, and fancy data tables with watermarks behind them. But there's as many images and as much information as ever. 220 pages of Toyota pornography spread over 12 chapters (Brief intro + one on each gen of the Celica & Supra).

As with the earlier books, images are mostly of cars when they were new or newish, so the surroundings are in context, and many of the original adverts are reproduced. Also lots of competition pics - particularly of the Celica of course. Also includes at least one car that many of you will have seen before i.e. the Tiger gen 7 that was on the TOC stand a few years back.

I'm planning on reading it cover to cover then writing a more in depth review, but for now I'll say that any Celica or Supra enthusiast will absolutely love this book.
