Help! Tns Display

Recently had a new engine block put in an 03 T4. Since I had it back and the display for average speed & range etc will only display in KM's whereas it used to be miles.

I have tried change the setting via language then opting for miles but it only changes the navigation screen. I've even removed and cleaned the disc.

Anyone got a sollution

Read the TNS handbook I think it is in there on how to change KMs to miles. If you cannot find the information I can check my handbook for you. I know the Sat/Nav system voice talked in Kms when I had the car new and I changed it to miles by just following the handbook instructions.

I've read the handbook and changed the settings to miles, the navigation is fine but it doesn't change the trip screen

I suspected that might be the case. Perhaps ring Toyota and ask them how it can be done.

Push the "DISP" button several times until the fuel consumption unit (L/100km) is displayed or flashed.

Then push "^" or “↓“ buttons to select the unit out of L/100km, km/L or MPG

(↓ = the opposite of the ^ symbol)

Yes I recall now that is how it is done. Thanks TVOR for the information I will keep it in my glove box for future reference. My recall cells are not what they used to be. Glad it is sorted.
