Which GT4 are you looking at?

That said, I think the boots are probably similarish in size. As you probably know, they're all hatchbacks, and I think they all have 50/50 split folding rear seats. Certainly the ST185 has split rear seats, though in some cases people remove them to save weight.

The boots tend to be slightly smaller than you would expect from a hatchback of the Celica's size; that's largely because the boot floor is high to accomodate the rear diff. Also the rear suspension intrudes into the boot area quite a lot, and many people also fit a rear strut brace which takes up some boot space.

They also tend to have a space saver wheel which almost fits in the boot floor, but is raised above the level of the floor - so you see a mound sticking up under the boot carpet where the space saver is. Many people have dispensed with the space saver and carry a can of tyre seal instead, though that's not an ideal solution in all circumstances.

Another common mod is to relocate the Battery to the boot, so if boot space is important look for one that hasn't had that. The mod makes more space under the bonnet for a sealed air-intake.

Hope that helps.

If its the ST205 GT4 the boot size is quite large i think for a coupe, i recon i could fit 3.5 gol club sets in if that helps lol, as for the seats there are only 4 2 in the back wich are sorta like bucket seats, not like a normal car with 3 in the back.

Import 205s come with 3 belts in the back so you can seat 5, the 3 in the back will be very friendly though

The boot in the 205 is not great, so don't buy it if you need to haul a load of stuff about a lot of the time. The standard fit strut bar and the fuel tank together with the spare make it only good for a long w/e away with the missus. I recently upgraded from a GT which is a lot more practical due to the conventional location of the fuel tank. I'm moving in 2 weeks so need to go and get my GT especially for it's boot capacity. Back seats are only good for little people or short trips.

Having said that, for the type of car it is, it is surprisingly practical.
