what brake fluid should i use with my ae10 corolla?

but the owners manual said i can use it to fill the clutch reservoir too, is this true?

Yes it is as far as i know

Might have been dot 3 back in the old days, we use 5.1 now, like everything else in the world, specs get enhanced over the years, 5.1 is a better spec than dot 3, You can use it in the clutch cylinder too. cheers, Kingo

i just put in DOT4 that i "borrowed" from work... works for me

lol my brake warning light keeps coming on and staying on, but then goes off after a bit :\
