H/u Problem

hello my first post

the prob is my girlfrieds yaris headunit has stopped working its a standard unit

it has on it a circle with a slash through it and AV the headunit will turn on but wont play radio or cds

also the cd eject button doesnt work the actual power button for the stereo

this all happened a day or so before her Battery went flat we have put in a new Battery and everything else is ok

it doesnt come up needing a passcode or anything

i was woundering if there was like a default reset or anything on it

Try disconnecting the Battery again. Leave it for a few mins, then re-connect. Make sure the ignition is turned OFF so as not to blow anything.

Failing this, you may have to ask at Toyota! Try first though, main dealers can be expensive! That said, they may advise you if it happens a lot, although it is not known to be a big problem. A few people have had similar problems but all a little different and dont always mention if they sussed it out!
