Hou and Karma you can actually get a Yaris T-Sport Turbo so get your facts right before you post!

You won't need an intercooler unless you're going for more power and I'm not sure about a dump valve. You're probably better posting this in the Yaris section but I'm sure it'll be moved for you shortly!

hey d3lan3y

it is unlikely that you have got turbo T-sport in telford, but its possible, go and open your bonnet, if it looks like this.....

a7eef5f1a6.jpg

then youve got a turbo yaris, you lucky :censor:

if it looks like this....

8d569d5e8c.jpg

then its 'just' a yaris t-sport, non turbo.

still, id be over the moon with one!

unless of course, you got ripped off for it :!Removed!:

am i right in thinking yaris turbos have a turbo Badge on the back, as well as a vitz Badge? but it may have been debaged by somone.

anyway, point is its much more likely that youve got a T-sport, not a turbo, and you cant stick a dump valve or an interooler on a T-sport....

I know..... but who cares :P

-and they have an intercooler as stock :P

I thought they couldn't be imported to the UK due to homo-logation laws anyway??

Don't all Turbo cars have a Waste Gate? How else if the pressure released?

waste gates and dump valves are very different things, but anyway, were getting off the point a bit, chances of this being an actual turbo yaris is minimal, but we will wait to see if they post gain, ith clarification.

in the mean time, lets let people have a little joke about it :P

Come on guys sort it out

VVTI = Variable Velosity Turbo Injection

If you look in the engine bay of any yaris you won't see it tho its hidden as an anti theft feature :D

check this out, weve got a guy who says that VVti stands for Variable Velosity Turbo Injection, is he right on this, because if so id love to know were the turbo injection system is on my yaris t-sport is. and belive me ive looked ( just for the fun on it lol) every1 knows that VVTi STANDS For Varible Valve timing Injection, Please correct me on this if im found wrong so i can take this up with toyota as its printed in the cars handbook!!!

As for helping u out with the intercooler and BOV or Wastegate that u might want, id recommed using a scion (Unsure of model) turbo, BOV, and intercooler as there ts series is,i belive, pratically a yaris t-sport chassie and is the exact same engine as the yaris t-sport ( ideal for parts).

I hope this has saved alot of folkes from spending there days searching for that turbo injectection system on there yaris's

Welcome Razor.

I fear your irony meter may be broken.

The poster very well knows what VVTi stands for and although he knows that we know that he knows, he still put a :D at the end just be sure that we didn't take him seriously.

Or perhaps it's mine; maybe you knew that we knew that he knew ;)

Sorry to put a spanner in the VVTi works but it stands for 'Variable Valve Timing with intelligence' not injection.

You've not upset anyone Razor; takes way more than that.

Sorry can't offer you advice about Yaris turbo, but check out some of Kimi's posts on her Yaris Compressor; very nice.

Or you if you really want to go mad check out the Yaris with a 3S-GTE in the back. The thread is a couple of pages down from this thread.

MM> So is VVTLi Variable Valve Timing with Limited Intelligence ;)

lol.

has any one trought about putting a celica engine in a yaris yet? i no the bay would be cramped but still. imagine what horsepower u'll be able to get from that conversion with a good turbo kit or supercharger, and there is alot of kits avaible for them too that ive found. what do u think to the mr2 mid engined yaris that was featured in max power? i think they could of done a bit more work to the looks of the engine like polishing the block or something instead of just the intake headers...

Peace out
