silly question  but can i paint my callipers with hammerite paint or will it just burn off when it gets hot and end up looking a mess?

Hammerite ( the smooth variety ) will do fine. Plenty of people have gone down that route with no problems.

If you go to somewhere like B&Q then they have dozens of colours available too. !

Yep, painted the callipers of my last car with smooth hammerite. Had it on for nearly 3 years, and although a little brown at the edges, it stayed on no problem. Just make sure you clean them well, with a brake degreaser, before applying the paint.

Hmmm.... :P

Now then, that raises the question as to what colour to choose... is it boy racer red, or a nice subtle gold colour.....!?!?!?!?

My silver XT3 has gold....

OH! - and dont forget to buy silver smoothrite for the disc centeres and edges....
