hi all im currently restoring my 1987 ae92 gti-16, its going verry well the body work isnt as bad as first thourght, even thow a boot, drivers door and sun roof panel cost me £908 from toyota. but too the point im trying to locate a 4agze engine preferably the 160bhp one with a lsd gearbox and the ecu, dose anyone know where there is one? and are they pritty mutch a straight swap?

Contact http://www.clkmotorsport.com/ he is the guy JB Motorsport had his parts supplied by. He is a good friend of mine and you will have no problems dealing with him. Other than that you can try eBay every now and again.

As for the swap the engine bolts in and the wiring needs modifying. I think clkmotorsport can modify your existing wiring loom to make it plug and play. I had major problems with my wiring but eventually got there!
