Hello...

A few days ago I found a dent on my 3D Aygo :(

Darn. I have scratches on all four courners, but that's plastic, and fixable with spray (hopefully). But a dent? Rats... It's located where the rear door is on a 5D Aygo. Now, it's quite small and you can't see it immediately, and luckily it's clean - no paint came off, it's just a small dent.

Now I was wondering, is there any way to easily fix it? Any pump-device of sorts? Or, can I remove the plastic on the inside and give it a push?

Cheers

I do not know if there is such an organisation in Greece as " Dent Devils" (An Independent chain of "Experts" who offer a mobile dent removal service for a very reasonable cost)

Having used the services of a Dent Devil getting it out is quite straight forward as long as you can get to the back of the panel. Mine was on a front wing around the wheelarch and he simply pushed most of it then used an acrylic hammer to dress the area. An Aygo door should be as straight forward as this.

Well, there's no chain as such, but lots of shops that can fix such things (and much more serious ones). I was just wondering if I can do it by myself some way or the other...

You can try. In the 3 door you get the whole rear "door card" off by pulling off the rubber around the front door partly so you can see the clips behind the plastic (near the light switch). Try your best to separate the clip by putting your hand behind this and pushing firmly but gently and then separate the two different coloured plastics.

Once you have this clip separated firmly pull the whole grey peice forward and it will come away from the body. At the back it slides away from the seatbelt through a slot and then you can now see the body behind where the speaker is. (Coincidentally this is also how you change the rear Speakers hence this knowledge.)

Good luck, and don't use too much force trying to get the dent out as you may make it worse.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it and will try your advice soon...

However, "front door rubber"? "Light switch"?? :)

The thick black seal that goes around the door to seal it from water. Just pull it off. It pushes back on. And the clip you need to undo is near the switch around the middle of the door.

Ah - but I was talking about the 3D version!

Thats what I am talking about.

He means the micro-switch that operates the interior light, look for the clip there. I also have a small dent there, usuful info thanks. I think it might be best to use some kind of roller to gently roll it out?
