Sorry, but I'm pretty sure they're quite different mate. If you look at the rear of a ST182/3 you won't see the big low tank that you get on the 185s The boot floor is lower on the FWD cars, but they don't have the problem with the diff being located under the rear seats. I could be wrong, but I'd be very surprised if the tanks are interchangeable.

PS: looking at a few sources on t'internet they quote 60 litres for the FWD cars' fuel tanks and 68 for the ST185 and ST185 c/s tanks, so definitely different.

nuts, so a tank strap is unlikley to fit from a 185 celica on to a 185gt.. thats the end of that then. toyota want 50 quid per strap..

There's plenty of ST185s being broken.

Look on eBay and ask on GT4OC and GT4EC. I'm a member of the former so can ask for you if you like, though I think they do a period of free membership. Not sure what the deal is with the EC.

They are a part that tends to go a lot though - quite exposed, so any s/h ones might be bad. If you are going s/h try to get one from an import.

PS: and Celica-Club.

Good luck.
