Hi I drive a 1.6 corolla

Its not a gs only 5 speed but had been debadged and thats so looks the part.

So far i have put on induction kit, sport shocks and 17" wheels and have a strut bar on the way.

Its a 4 AFE engine and am wondering if it can be tunned any at all.

I keep reading about engine conversions, but i would know enough about engines to do a swap. and would cost too much 2 get some1 else to do it.

How much it cost for conversion roughly??

Is there anyhting can be done to make it quicker off the mark?

Thanks for help

Take a look here to see what I've done with mine. Engine transplant was done in June 2003 and I'm still making mods to get it exactly how I want it. My website shows a lot more and greater detail. Don't forget you will have to uprate the suspension and the brakes as well. It's not a cheap option to get more power. The cheapest way to do that is to buy a car that has more power to start with.

ae111sr is right, the cheapest option is to buy a different car to start with, the next cheapest option is to engine conversion. However if you don't want to swap Bill sherwood in Oz has done much to his 4A-FE starlet engine. Alternatively you could have a gander at this website: 4A-FE Power!

(it's mine :D )
