Trunk Hinge

Greetings:

I am a very recent addition to the Celica-pilot's club. Doing my research before my purchase show that broken trunk hinges are not an uncommon problem.

I found a GREAT 91 STX but, of course, she also suffers from a broken passenger side hinge. My questions are these:

1) WHERE to find them online? I dread the hit/miss routine of local salvage yards.

2) Is painting them difficult (i.e. DIY or should I take it to be professionally done)?

3) Is the Driver's side hinge on borrowed time, meaning, should I replace that as well as a preemptive measure?

Any help I could get on here would be greatly appreciated.

Keep 'em between the ditches...
