Hi everyone,

Got a facelifted 04 Corolla T-Sport recently. Been brilliant and fuel economy has been good. Just one little thing I have got with the car is that whilst in the car is moving there is a slight squeeky noise coming from the front wheels which sounds like steel is rubbing against each other. Also, when braking they squeek too. Not sure if they are related or not but anyone else got this problem or would know what's wrong with it?

I'd definitely take a look at the discs and pads. I changed mine at 50k as I couldn't find a record of them being looked at in the service book. When I took the pads off they were almost worn down to nothing and had easily visible cracks through what was left of them. The discs were also pretty "grooved" from the wear of the pads and covered in flakey rust everywhere else. Needless to say I swapped them out and am much happier, plus I have no squeeking :)
