Ahh that sounds like the same noise i was asking about when i first got it fitted. I never got an answer from anybody which is suprising as so many had the kit fitted before i did. I was pretty worried, it does it everytime you kill the ignition. I have put this down to the the amount of extra air being constantly sucked in, even when idle. When you kill the ignition, it still sucks air for about 1-2seconds, more of a sucking/whoosh/rumbling/gurgling sound.

Had the sound ever since i had the kit fitted and no problems. Does get slightly annying but i have got used to the noise now.

BTW: Did you fit the additonal air pipe? Or you have left it just sucking air from where the old airbox was?

I added another air tube that is mounted beneath the cars front, just below the spoiler, not visible at all. So i have two pipes for air.

Have fun with it, sounds like its all ready for a good driving.

On an unrelated note: has anyone noticed the car does not want to start on the first crank when the car is warm? Is the heat from the engine being recirculated into the air filter when stationary? Usually starts on the 2-3rd crank when warm, but when cold it starts on first crank.

Garage fitted mine too. I stood and watched them as they fitted it and also put it on a lifting device to fit the pipe underneath and snake it thru the engine bay up to where the K&Ni is.

LOL! were you driving with both windows down? If not try that aswell. It'll sound damn loud.

My favourite is passing through tunnels the longer the better, i wind down both front windows fully and floor it. What a noise!

LOL, ofcourse you can, but its soooo much louder with the windows down. If there are any tunnels near you try what i suggested. The sound characteristics of tunnel amplifies the sound so much more, sounds like 5 t-sports hitting lift all at once!.
