Hi,

I've just traded in my Yaris T Sport for a Corolla Phase 2 T Sport. Picking it up on Friday.

But I have a few questions:

1. What size wipers are on the car?

2. What bulb types does it use?

3. Shell Optimax or Tesco 99?

Thanks

I do like the Alsace Granite, but then i am biased!

1. Wipers are a bit bigger than the Yaris

2. Err, round one's

3. Fuel's not too much of an issue in the CTS, lower RON fuel appears to only affect the CTS Compressor.

Apart from no. 3 i've not really been too much help!! :D

Someone will be along shortly to correct 1 & 2 i'm sure!!!

Anyway, enjoy the Lift!!!

Hehe, yeah It's a nice colour. It has a few marks which I can polish out. I hope the weekend is nice, gonna spend all day prepping it to my standard :)

I've ordered some Bosh Aerotwin Retrofit FLAT wiper BLADE UPGRADE TWIN PACK 530mm & 450mm from wiperblades.co.uk and PIAA Platinum Competition White bulbs. I need them down these dark country roads. I hope everything will fit lol.

I've got osram silverstars, H7 dipped and H7 main beam.

you won't see much difference in fuel between optimax and sainsbury's!

wiperblades, i'd go Bosch.

Nice car! Welcome to the Corolla T-Sport club!

1) Wipers are 18" passenger side and 22" drivers size

2) Dipped beams are H7

3) I would use Shell Optimax though it runs fine on 96 RON.

I received my Bosch AeroTwin wipers today. They look much better than Valeo's flat blades which I have on my Yaris. Hopefully they'll work just as good.

The PIAA bulbs didn't turn up today, !Removed! parcel-farce. Never-mind, as long as I receive them before I pick up the Corolla on Friday afternoon :)

Once I give her a clean on Saturday I'll post up some pics of the car and the lights and wipers :)

Only 1 day to go!! :) :D

In response to question 3, in my experience, Shell V Power.

I have run my current TSport exclusively on it since purchase and it is a fuel that this engine can get benefit from. I ran my 1st TSport on Sainsbury's Super Unleaded and I thought it went well but it's 2mpg less compared to V Power and V Power has a better mid-range pickup. I have a dyno run somewhere with the figures but can't lay my hands on it right now, I think it's on my work laptop which I left, you guessed it, at work!

Nice colour, by-the-way, black is the best :)

Thanks. Yup I agree the V Power does make a difference.

Got the PIAA bulbs today. I thought I ordered 2 sets but it turns out the price is for 1 bulb, oops!!

in reference to your bulbs, they are bit of a pain at the front, my indicator went not long back u need small hands to be able to change them.

from experience call out toyota assist if u have been given this as they use the rac and have a no refusal policy....if u havent bought from a delaer u can join club toyota for 53 quid approx this gives u full rac including homecall.

another tip is when getting servicing done if u=using the main dealer shop round they all charge diffrent prices around were i am based

hope this helps
