Scratch Repair

Really depends on how deep the scratch is on the paintwork.

If you CAN'T feel the scratch with your fingernail then it should just polish out with a decently abrasive polish - something like T-Cut or Farecla G3.

If you CAN feel the scratch then I'd be straight in with something like Farecla G6.

If the G6 doesn't shift it then this will, it sounds scary but it works. You'll need to flat down the lacquer with some really fine wet & dry (used very wet) so that you're rubbing the scratch out. Just do a littel bit and then polish the lacquer back up with some G3 or similar. It's better to have to repeat the rub / polish / check routine three or four times that to go all the way down in one go in case you go too far.

If the scratch is through into the body colour then you'll need to fill in soem of the scratch with touch-up paint, let it dry and then fill the rest in with lacquer and then do the above step to bring the level down flush with the existing paint finish.

I've done this a few times with various cars and had very good results. It is scary the first time you attack your paint with sandpaper!

As far as the interior problem - sorry, dunno.
