Your engine is a non-direct injection, you can convert it into lpg or cng without problem;

You can add Flash-lube sistem to prevent damages to the valves (somebody says it's necessary, somebody not... I don't know).

Hi,

Thanks for answer but I'm still confuse becasue.

As fare as I know my engine is 1AZ-FSE which is...(found on wikipedia)

The 1AZ-FSE is a 2.0 L (1998 cc) version. Bore is 86.0 mm and stroke is 86.0 mm. Output is 155 hp (114 kW) at 6000 rpm with 145 ft·lbf (192 N·m) of torque at 4000 rpm. The 1AZ-FSE features Toyota's D-4 direct injection system.

So what to belive? Could you explain this please?

Woj

Hey,

I did ask Toyota about my engine and they told me that all enignes called 1AZ are with direct injection so gas instalation is impossible.

What a pity!

Many Thanks

Hello

In general it is very simply. Firstly you should locate a petrol discharging pipe from fuel tank (it is easy) and follow this line up to the injectors theirselves. In case no carburator available on the line - this means your engine is dirrect injection type (all ingectors are mounted on the suction manifolds).

Tyme in case you need more info

hi

i am really glad you have caught it .

I own 1.8 VVT-i and face to problem with oil consumption. I have heard that the reason is with poor cooling of pistons, but i still do not believe it and it is becasue Toyota could not assemble the such class car with this minor problem. I am going to check with all valves stems sealing cups (!!!). My car milage is 91k and these cups are likely have worn down. I think so

Type if any
