Dog Guard 4.3

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Just in process of changing cars and RAV4 T180 favourite at present, although wife likes CRV :hang: !

We need a dog guard to keep our two hounds in the back and the Toyota one looks OK but its a full height and restricts space abit (moving from a Passat). Also I have to fit a bike in the back (not at the same time as the dogs though!) so a full height will restrict that.

Does anyone have any ideas/solutions as to a make/model of dog guard/strong net that we can use that gives dogs maximum room but also lets a bike be slid in the back with the seats down?

Many thanks

:o :o :o Almost raving ? you must be mate. We dont use that name on here :ban:

You know the one, the Honda CReVice, the Honda CReVate, the Honda CaRaVan. Its never mentioned because

that is one UGLY car, and has been well spoken about on here. you need to have a serious word with your wife.

How can you have any doubts choosing between an awesome T180 and a spinoff from a company that makes

lawnmowers and generators and motorbikes ?

You need to sort this out immediately, there is a TOC member called Parts King who works for a Toyota dealer

send him a personal message and will give you all the advice you need about dog gaurds etc. He will also give

you a discount for being a TOC member :D

I will now leave you to the mercy of my fellow members on this forum and god help you if Fujisan, Sussex Paul

and Chatman are not on holiday !!!!!!!

Good luck,

Dave ;)

a honda ? I need to go and lie down..............................................

I'm here!

Some RAV's come with a strong cargo net thingy....lol......I'm not at work now but I can check for you and see what comes with what model. The Toyota dog guard is a full on mesh jobby and would hold back this lot:

Well said Chatman :nono: that word needs to be banished from this forum.

Kingo, if thats the fox, I'll be the hound any time :naughty::naughty:

just a thought, there seems to be a lot of radio 2 appreciative listeners on this forum as well, but then they do

have the best presenters. Chris Evans, Johnny Walker, Steve Wright and many more. Not to mention Sally :D

Hmmmmmmm, Chatman time for another one of your polls I think.

Dave. ;)

Dave, you trying to get me killed by the RAV mafia... :2guns: ?

Those awful words were said in jest, as a very slow car was required (couldn't think of a slower car :D ) for the story to continue!

It's alright for you lot, my in-laws own one :giljotiini:

AlmostRaving, I was forced to drive the Honda by my wife but we both agreed that the Rav4 T180 was the better car by a mile as you get more equipment and it's a lot faster B)

Bryan, we will allow you one incident of using the H word, any more and we will send the TOC hit squad :ph34r::ph34r::ph34r: round.

They will remove your shirt and whip you with wet shoe laces. :o

Aggravated and indiscriminately use of the "H****" or "C**" words on here have been noted :banned:

Hi There,

Just to bring some normality back to the asylum..

The net in this link was the one that came with the 4.2 Rav. I still have my old one and found that it fits okay in the 4.3. It is sturdy and easy to fit/remove. I also think that your bike may be able to slide under the bottom when it is in situ, although I haven't tried this.

Too late duncs the 142's are on their way and I understand they'll be in the same awful state as they were when they left us.

For those of you that don't know what we're talking about, duncs is really going to suffer in a way that is too horrible to describe.

If you are of a nervous disposition don't even look;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_142

and you think a Honda cervix is bad?

I think that blue one with a gold star has had "BD" stickers placed under the driving cab window for some reason?
