General Toyota Surf Hilux Ltd Auto

hi all well this is my first question,ive been reading through forums and answering alot of question in the reading, but this one need to clarify if ..on longer motorway drives did someone say there is an economy saving method for this like an overdrive? were is this situated??

at the mo we estimate we get around 125 miles around town for 20 quid

any advice would be great as complete novice!!!!! (unless its about dogs or malamutes i am not much good!!!)

cant answer your question but you may want to paste this into the Hilux forum. May get an answer a bit quicker as some members watch there respective forums more often.... :unsure:

There is no "economy" mode as such... but you will get best economy with Overdrive on (button on the side of the auto shifter set so you don't get the orange O/D off light on the dash), and ECT normal/off (no green light on the dash saying ECT)
