Twin Turbo T180

The thought of a twin turbo setup is appealing but i have no clue if it is possible and who would do it??

Would it require and whole suit of uprated parts, manifold, valves, clutch and gearbox? If so its out of the questions. At least the thought of a smaller turbo low down and a bigger turbo higher up the rev range is positively exciting judging by the amount of power i can extract now from just 1 turbo. :D

Just a though

A veeery big question with no small answer possible.

Cause the d2.2 4xcilinder. The enigine is not that big, so 1x turbo should be enough to give enough intake pressure. The main advantage of a double turbo setup would be, in my opinion, that 2 small turbo's turbo's would kick in earlier ( low rpm's) than 1 big one. Since it's a diesel. the 1 turbo is already kicking in at 2.5k rpm. So good enough for me.

If you want to spend some money. high up the current turbo to 1.7 Bar intake pressure :P by modifying the software & wastegate :P

i think one small and one big turbo together would be better than twin turbo conversation.

because, small turbo kicks like @ 1500 rpm and bigger one kicks @2500-3000 rpm..

maybe it can be :P just an idea..

Greetz,
