I've currently got a little 1.3 Yaris but am now after an upgrade. Basically want something quicker as 85bhp isn't enough for me anymore!

I really do like the Starlet Glanza '96 upwards but am a bit worried as I shall soon be commuting a few miles on the motorway. Being only a 1.3, does this effect the way it cruises on open stretches of road or does it cope ok??

Also, as all them (I think all of them?!) come in from Japan, how easy is it to change the speedo into UK mph??

Thanks!

Firstly they are a very good choice

as for motorway they may only be a 1.3 but they are capable of 140 ish, i drive my gt daily on the motorway

converting the speedo, if not already done, is a very easy job, all you need is a mechanical converter that cost about 40 quid and plug into the speedo cable

Ah right, sounds fairly straight forward then. Would I be right in saying that it can't convert the mileage on the car?? So if the car has done say, 40,000km, by fitting a speedo converter it wouldn't change this to miles automatically?

yeah it would just continue to go up in miles after you fit the converter :)
