I'm having an error with my factory Nav-Japanese screen saying it can't find the correct disk.please help.

The screen is in Japanese and has some English text that reads:

-------------

CAUTION

Error; System unable to access the program.

Incorrect program disk.

Please insert proper disk.

-------------

This is a GEN 2 / 3 NAV unit for a 2003 Lexus (also used in Toyota's) made by DENSO. It no longer reads the original US disc and is looking for the Japanese disk.

The disk has the following information:

86271-33031

464210-0270

DATA ver.02.1

The following link has more info as well as a picture of the error screen I receive.

If you know of a fix, please PM me.

thanks.

Welcome.

Have you tried here. There's a chance that someone here will be able to help, but I'd think there's a bigger chance on LOC.

Yes, I've tried on both the UK and the US forum.

I've also tried on the Prius forums.

Is there a way to search for members who list their location as Japan?

I don't think so.

I doubt there are many here anyway; I don't know any who are regular posters.

Your best chance is someone with an import.

That's why I posted this in the Japanese Imports section :)
