How Often Do You Clean Ur Cts ?

i have to admit to being a lazy fuc* for cleaning my pre faclift met black cts but i look it and think phworrr !!!! its the car i have always wanted but i love it dirty its like a car that loves being dirty but with beauty within... i think i am a bit sad and yes i have got a missus who has just got a company car as a VW Eos in met black...anyway do you hand wash or do the fully manual monty ?? ps i do the two quid special (shame on me) B)

3 Cars here, one CTS, one C class Benz and one E class Benz. I hand wash them every weekend weather permitting.

Infact going to be washing all three tomorrow, full hand wash, got the Bosch jetspray unit, all the cleaning kit, i should go pro, lol.

I've been hand washing all the cars i have owned since i started driving, from my mums micra i passed in to the many cars i have owned in 10+ years of driving.

there is a certain satisfaction to be had spending 2-3 hours per car full manual valet, when the car gleams inside and out, it feels great. Thats sounds sad i know. :-) But if you are going to wash a car, better go all the way detailing.

Plus it gives you the chance to spot any dings and dents or damage that needs to be taken care of. Mines got loads from careless drivers, i spot atleast two new war wounds everytime i wash it, so i make a note of all things i see ready to book it into the bodyshop at some point to make it perfect.

i TAKE my car to ppl who wash it for me every 2 weeks. i wud wash my car, but then ill b told to wash all of our cars at the house. we hav 5 cars, so thatll take me AGES.

A clean Skoda looks better than a dirty Ferrari

I clean my t-sport everyweek

Even if I can't be ask with the bodywork; I will still do the alloys.

If you leave it too long, it just get harder or impossible to make the paintwork look good again!

What's the point of spending hundreds of pounds on your alloys to look good if it will be covered with brakedust permanently?

I got 3 cars

1. TS to go to work

2. Cayman S for trackday and sunday drive

3. E46 M3 as above but if need to carry passengers

Very nice ;) , Glasur is a suprb wax

I wash my CTS every weekend if te weather is fine. Top it up with wax it the beading starts to diminish.

Post facelift CTS looks gorgeous in dark colour after a nice clean! Your car look very nice!

The only other family hatch that I think look better than ours=Golf GTI MkV Anniversary and New Audi S3. They are a touch too expensive for a family hatch though!

A 20mm drop with 17inch OZ Superleggera will be my perfect CTS!

Every Thursday night without fail and thats either glazed and sealed or normally just waxed with one of many. Blackfire range is very very good i think its about 80quid now for the glaze, sealant and wax.

i used the 2 stage diamond brite courtesy of a mate in the trade but still try to do weekly

cant fault autoglym, apparantly theres a polish by the name of maguires that is ment to be the dogs <the spuds of lurrrrvve>s

any1 got any good suggestions for alloy wheel cleaner the ole 10 spoke standard wheels are a mare to clean

HAH! You should pull in and take a closer look at it, it's absolutely filthy when you get up close. I guess from the distance you go past at, it probably looks clean. I haven't had the time to clean it since the last bank holiday, although I did spend most of the day doing it so that was probably the best clean it's had in it's life :D

I try to wash mine once a month and do the whole wash and wax thing. Takes me a good few hours but I'm not obsessive like the car detailers! :)

i currently have no where to wash mine unless i do a car wash , theyve dug up the road right outside / in front of my house ! weve no parking at mo either lol tis NOT funny !

might have to pay someone else to do her , got a brill excuse now aint i lol
