Turning Daytime Lights Off

Hi everybody

Does anybody know if there is a way to switch off the daytime running lights? My headlight bulb burned out after a year (too short period I think?) and since it's such a pain in the neck to change them I thought it would be worth disabling this feature since it is not obligatory in Serbia where I live.

My car is 2006 Corolla vvt.
