Brakes Rubbing?

hi all

driving home last night (about 60mph) and there was a sudden shuddering from one or more of the wheels. i think it was a brake caliper seized maybe? i've got disc brakes all round, and when i stopped to have a look there was an ominous smell from one of the back wheels. decided to do a few emergency stops to see if i could clear it, and that seems to have stopped it (for now). it has happened about 3 times or so in the last few days i think so i don't know if it will come back.

anyone think i should get it checked out or maybe give me a heads up on what it could be? i took it to get serviced on wednesday and maybe the toyota garage have done something 'clever' which has caused it :( ?

thanks

If it was only just serviced, it could be that somebody "Over adjusted" the handbrake, take it back to get checked, it's a fine adjustment and is easy to over do it

usuall cause is a seized caliper tho as these are a common fault which plagues the mr2s also, don't bother with a caliper kit as this is a worse nightmare than catching a cheetah, just get a recon caliper B)

my brake system warning light is on under heavy accelerating and brakeing. Any idea?

Low fluid or a faulty low fluid level switch
