need help my cd player plays out of one side of car then the other, when you drive it goes off

Sounds(?) to me like loose leccy contacts. Try checking all the plugs in the back of the system and on the speaker terminals. If it goes off all together, not just sound, then prob loose terminals, earthing or fuses!

A bit vague for my liking.

One side then the other? Without moving or if you slam the door?? Or what?

Is it the original? Has it ever been out? I don't see how the connections could be suspect otherwise?

what it is the sound button wont go higher or lower, everything else works on it.

when you turn it on by ignition it plays low, it may work one side not the other..

if you turn car of it may start on other side, the volume wont go high or low.

it is the orignal cd, i have checked wires, they seem ok, any ideas or is it nackerd

Doesn't sound good :( (sorry, no pun intented)

If you've checked everything and can't find a fault, it might be time to let an audio auto electrician give their verdict on it, whether it lives or dies

There are some good indepentant audio places, I'd give them a try and steer clear of Hal-frauds, they just want to sell you new gear.

Good luck, hope it's sorted soon
